Plans for 2010
In 2008 I started painting with gouache (Death Valley and Bequia, West Indies) and now take these opaque watercolors with me on my plein air adventures.
I spent a week at Sierra Nevada College at Lake Tahoe, painting several new paintings during a week-long workshop with the California painter, Gregory Kondos. “Rock and Shadows”, “Tahoe Meadows”, “Two Pines”, and “Tahoe Pine” are from that week. He was an inspiring and energetic teacher.
Plans for 2010 include travels in the West Indies, England, Switzerland and Slovenia. A show at the Main Street Artists Gallery in Quincy, CA, will include new works from these travels.
